To all musicians, volunteers, performers, sponsors, vendors & attendees:
We, The Board of Directors, regret to inform you that The Rio Grande Valley Music Festival is in the process of closing down. We have found it impossible to continue this 10 year long event, due to the fact that it became too large of an undertaking without enough year round, full time help.
We want to thank all of the musicians and volunteers who donated their time, we could not have put on such a festival without you. We also want to thank the local businesses and vendors who sponsored and supported us over the years. And of course we thank all of you who attended and enjoyed the festival.
It is with sadness that we will end this event and will miss the yearly reunion with the Valley schools as we presented them their grant checks. The smiles on the students faces were well worth all of the hard work we all put in.
All remaining funds have been or will be dispersed in the near future.
We do apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused any person or organization.
These videos exemplifies the good that the money donated by the RGVMF does for the music programs of the various schools in the valley

regarding the 2012 Rio Grande Vallley Music Festival.
Hello George and Edy and all RGV Music Fest people,
Much thanks for having us again at the fest!! While the festival has always been great, this year's was even better. We, the students, parents and teachers had a wonderful time! My favorite part was during the vocal contest when the sun broke through the clouds while one of our students was singing "You Are My Sunshine". How did you all arrange that?:) Sincerely, Alan and Christina Mayne

Mr. George Rogers
Rio Grand Valley Music Festival
Dear Mr. Rogers,
I first want to thank you and the Rio Grand Valley Music Festival for the $500.00 donation to our Music Program. I am well aware of the amount of work you all put into organizing and putting on the RGV Music Festival each year. So it's through your efforts that we are able to influence and inspire our young students to develop their musical talents. I am frugal with spending money wisely, so it will be used for the greatest benefits to the program. .
Thank you again for your continued support of our Program.
